Ayer os anunciábamos la trágica noticia. Uno de los guitarristas más importantes de la historia, Eddie Van Halen, perdía la batalla contra el cáncer y fallecía en su casa junto a sus familiares a los 65 años de edad.
Eddie fue diagnosticado con Cáncer en el año 2000, a pesar de ello, pudo salir de aquella primera batalla, pero años más tarde, el bicho se tomo su venganza y volvió a invadir el cuerpo de Eddie para finalmente terminar con su vida la mañana de ayer 6 de octubre.
Hoy, Janie Van Halen, esposa de Eddie desde 2010, ha colgado una emotiva nota en sus redes sociales recordando a su marido:
Mi esposo, mi amor, mi Peep. Mi corazón y mi alma se han hecho añicos en un millón de pedazos.
Nunca supe que era posible llorar tantas lágrimas o sentir una tristeza tan increíble. Nuestro viaje juntos no siempre ha sido fácil, pero al final siempre teníamos una conexión y un amor que siempre estará. Decir adiós es lo más difícil que he tenido que hacer, así que digo hasta luego, te veré de nuevo pronto en un lugar sin dolor ni tristeza. Por favor, cuída de Kody y de mí . Te amamos y te extrañamos mucho. Con amor, tu PooPee.
